Raymond Ortega

I grew up in South Boston, I learned that if you want anything in your life you must work hard for it. Striving past the hurdles life threw my way I found that to succeed I must create opportunities for myself through hard work and dedication towards my education. I knew my life was destined to stray away from the common path. Being a young latino in from a low class family who worked day in and day out to provide for me I owed them a debt I could never pay in full. I joined the Marine Corps as a avionic technician for the V-22. Thats where my passion for technology came into fruition, I loved being afforded the opportunity to troubleshoot an multi million dollar Aircraft. All while becoming more and more efficient in my understanding of how technologies works on the fundamental level. But that wasn't enough for me, I became more and more interested on how each respective component communicates on a more intricate level. This is where my pursuit of software engineering came into play. Resilient Coders Provided me with a unique opportunity of pursuing my passion in an accelerated rate all while being affordable, and knowledgeable the same. I look forward to the rest of my story and where my place in the technology world will take me.
